Las Vegas Side Trips

south america itinerary 3 months

You may not be aware of the many side trips that are available off the Strip if you're new in Vegas. Las Vegas is synonymous with gambling and glitz. However there are many other things to do in Sin City. We spoke last week about some of those hidden gems outside of the Strip.

Jeff German

German has expanded his podcasting efforts over the last few year. German wrote "Mobbed Up" a series on the fight against organized criminality, which was produced jointly by the Review-Journal (and Mob Museum). It covered the dark characters who populated the Las Vegas Valley during the 1970s and 1980s.

His reporting revealed three decades of organized crime and political corruption in Las Vegas. Most notably, he broke the story of the mass shooting that left more than 60 people dead and hundreds more injured in 2017. He also wrote a true-crime novel about a mob connection in this area. He also broke the story in 1998 of Ted Binion’s murder. He also collaborated with a CNN analyst in the Binion case.

Cary Darling

Las Vegas is a desert oasis in Nevada that has become a popular location for politicians and celebrities to host public events. Las Vegas is a great backdrop for the third presidential discussion, which takes place in a city known for its extravagant excesses. However, the majority of people who attended were not impressed.

Lance Lipinsky

Lance Lipinsky is a pianist and writer who grew up in Texas and moved to Las Vegas with the hopes of recreating his success as a musician. He began to write original material and honed his skills as a live entertainer while in Vegas. At 17, he was discovered on the Las Vegas strip, and his career began.

Lipinsky is a descendant of legendary entertainers Fats Domino, Charlie Rich. His showmanship is high-energy and he plays 60s pop and classic Country. He encourages audience participation.

Velveteen Rabbit

The Velveteen Rabbit, originally from Philadelphia is a colorful and magical mix of stage magic, music, and mime. Nana, the puppet's nurse, stands at 10 feet tall. The shadows of the other adult characters are all that can be seen. The show runs Monday through Sat from 7 p.m. - 1 a.m.

The musical adaptation of "The Velveteen Rabbit", a 1922 children's book, is a two-act piece featuring choreography by K. T. Nelson as well as a stellar cast. The 25 year-old company's signature style combines elements of traditional European and Asian dance. If you are in the area, this production is a must-see.

Encore Boston Harbor

The Encore Boston Harbor in Everett, Massachusetts, is close to the Logan International Airport and many colleges and universities. It towers above the Mystic River, and can be seen from all major roads. It is a good spot to spend a weekend in Boston.

The 600 guest rooms at Encore Boston Harbor are neutrally decorated and have light, airy finishes. Some rooms have views of Boston Harbor and the skyline. The room type determines the price, which can range from $339 to $1099 per night.

FAQ

How can I make travel more enjoyable?

Traveling is not about just getting from point A and B. It should also include all the experiences along the way.

We have developed an app called "Traveler", which allows you to create itineraries and plan your trip based on your interests.

We are working on additional features like booking hotels and flights, renting cars, etc.

The goal of this project was to create an easy travel planning tool for those who want to explore more while they're on the road.

How long does it take between two countries to fly?

The distance between two airports and the weather conditions affect the time taken to fly.

The average flight takes around 3 hours.

The actual flying time depends on many factors like the airline, aircraft type and airport delays.

What should I pack for a vacation trip?

You must know what you want from your holiday. This is not about packing clothes. Consider where you're going and how much time you'll be staying there.

The first thing you need to do is think about what types of activities are most appealing to you. You might want to go scuba diving if your destination is exotic. If you plan on staying longer, you may want to attend local festivals.

It is crucial that you inform the people responsible for your care if you have any health problems. They can then plan accordingly.

How much luggage should you take?

The length of the trip will affect how much luggage that you can take. Hand baggage is usually limited to 20 kg if you travel by plane. However, if you are taking a train or bus, then you will need more space.

You will receive a form with all the details about your flight when you arrive at airport. This form will contain information about your flight, such as the weight and assistance required when you check them in.

This should be checked before you leave home. If you don’t check it, you might end up waiting hours for everyone else to do so.

It's best to travel light, as you never know when something might happen. If your bag is lost or damaged, you will not have any clothes.

What snacks can you take on a plane with you?

You can choose from many types of snacks when you fly. Consider bringing any foods you like while on the road.

If you are a chocolate lover, you may want to bring some chocolates along with other snacks like crisps, nuts, and biscuits.

If you're looking for something savory, perhaps you could try packing some cheese or crackers.

Consider what type of drink you want to take on board. Perhaps you'd prefer something cold or hot?

You can bring any type of snack or beverage, but make sure you pack them securely.

This way, you won't need to worry about them getting damaged during travel.
